A Yami x OC fan fiction

Every story has a beginning. Whether the main character meets someone that changes their life, has a dramatic occurrence, or is simply born, the story must start somewhere. For me, my story starts much later in my life than when I was born, but my history - my past - has a large part to play in everything that I do. My life changed the same month I turned eleven years old. It was unfortunate for me to have experienced something so horrid at such a young age...but I've learned to live with it. My family... My friends... Each and every one of them slaughtered merely because we didn't give one man the thing he wanted. When all was said and done, his words were few: "Hm, disappointing. I was looking forward to having such a strong ability in my arsenal." Disappointment. That's all he felt when my entire clan was killed. Disappointment that he could not obtain something he wanted. Disappointment that he lost his only chance to gain that something. Or so he thought. I am Aratani Otonari, the Otonari's last.
