Essentially, this is an alternate timeline where instead of getting killed by the Arbiter, Sesa 'Refumee manages to escape. He flees to the planet Threshold with the small remnants of his forces, intending to continue spreading the truth and exposing the Covenant. Outside the ship, we can see her drifting through the void, and soon come to a large, shadow-covered planet.
