''I'm sorry!'' The words tumble out of me, loud and forceful, before I can stop them. ''But... Ugh!'', I yell in frustration, raking my fingers through my hair. Vi can see that I'm struggling with my emotions. They're... conflicting at best. ''I'm trying, Vi. I'm trying to fix this, to fix us. Can't we just... put it aside and move on?'' My voice softens, breaking. I'm practically hanging by a thread, hoping she won't push me away, like I did to her back then. This oneshot describes how I thought the back and forth between Cait and Vi would go, when they would meet again, after they went their seperate ways in S2E3... Enjoy!

At the end of the day jinx was his childhood best friend, and after all that loathing for years they rebounded for her to...just go. once upon a time, i was hit by a bus and isekai'd away to the world of Arcane. as expected, i was reincarnated as the lowest level homeless man in the destitute nation of Zaun. eventually, with my cunning, i forged my legal documents to achieve my "citizenship" in the opulent Piltover. i manage to get into the Academy so i could study into a better life. but my colleague, Viktor, keeps distracting me from my studies with his sickly Victorian genius beauty. but when magic, unrest, and fear begin to work their way into the city, many things are bound to happen. can i maintain my scholarship? will i ever be able to confess my feelings to Viktor? and what are those blue balls he keeps in the lab...?

The heist in episode one goes just a bit differently. Once Powder drops the crystal, instead of the explosion, they are greeted with a friend from the future. This friend fills them in on just how shit their future is (mostly), and together Vi and her friends, as well as some piltie Tagalongs, have to work to end Silco and stop history from repeating itself. I just made this bc I'm obsessed with the idea of act 1 Caitlyn interacting with the act 1 undercity kids. New chapters coming out whenever I feel like it.
