In the realm of Pokémon there once was rumor of a region by the name of Arcanus. It was said that very powerful beings existed there. However, they knew not what those beings were. Some said they were a hybrid of a human and a Pokémon. Others said they were Pokémon that were once human before they were chosen for a greater purpose. Yet still others said they were just overpowered or simply another ordinary legendary group. Nonetheless, one thing was agreed on. These beings were the Legacy Guardians of Arcanus. Sadly, this is merely a rumor of a lost rumor.

At a time when the collected magical knowledge of the human race was in dire need of salvation, a group of scholars and archivists step in to secure the future for the next generation of magic users.
