After the War in Heaven, the battle between Satan and Michael (and their angels), Satan and his angels were cast down from Heaven, the angels receiving the term fallen. Sometimes Fallen Angels find their way back to Earth to live a life in the hope of returning back to Heaven. But there are others that stand in their way. The Watchers. The Watchers are a council of souls that live on Earth to watch over the fallen and partially fallen angels. Whenever a Fallen Angel finds a way to Earth, the Watchers make sure they don’t do anything to make the Original spot them so to give them a second chance. One you’ve fallen and joined the Father, that’s it, you’ve fallen. And they’re there to stand in the way to make sure you can’t go back.
