But thanks to the actions of Aaravos, they had to hide their child, using a stasis spell to keep their daughter alive so that at least one of them could get her and they leave a necklace with her name on the back of it Astraea. But due to the actions of Aaravos, the parents were killed in the crossfire and the stasis spell lasted for centuries until it finally wore off and the Skymage Ibis found her, taking her to the Stormspire, where she was taken in by the Royal Family to be a new member of the Dragonguard to protect and advise the Dragon Prince when the time comes for him to become the next Dragon King. But Viren's attack changes everything and the next thing that Astraea knew she was trapped in a cage in the Dark Mage's hidden room and the citizens of Xadia believe she and the Dragon Prince are dead and she believes she will never see her homeland again.
