Modern day, Grand Archipelago of the Pacific (GAP) The war for the GAP was a bloody unification war fought between the archipelago's city-states. The Brink, a megacorporation, came out on top after the war. Nolan and Sierra are professional "imaginary friends" working for The Brink's Media and Entertainment Division. Nolan and Sierra were fifteen at the start of the war. Years later, they have matching engagement rings, and a sense of great love for each other, but no memory of how they got there, let alone what happened to them during the war.
