Welcome to Wattpad's yellow pages, your go-to source for community, opportunity, and fun. Wondering what awards are open? What about the status of those awards you entered three months ago? Is that even still happening? Well, lucky for you, I've done the work, so you don't have to. Within these pages are awards that have been active within the past six months, organized alphabetically, with dates of entry deadlines, judging windows, expected results announcements, and latest updates from the organizers. This will always be a work in progress. If I've missed something or you'd like me to add a new chapter, drop me a comment here or a message on my profile and I'll look into it. In a small town on the Adriatic, the past returns easily - all it takes is recognizing yourself in someone else's story. 1920s. After the Revolution and the Civil War, Maria, a Russian émigrée, settles on the Yugoslav coast. What remains of her life are diaries, letters, photographs - fragments shaped by a turbulent era, and a secret she herself never fully understood. 2020s. A century later, Rita arrives in the same town with her mother, after fleeing a Russia that is rapidly unraveling. A job assisting an American journalist seems ordinary enough, until Maria's archive ends up in her hands. What begins as routine work with documents gradually turns into something far more personal and dangerous: other people's lives, hidden motives, an old tragedy, money, power - and the growing sense that the past never disappeared. It was simply waiting for someone to open the box and begin reading. Through letters and diaries, Rita begins to see not only another woman's story, but her own reflection - and it becomes harder to pretend that this has nothing to do with her. The Dial is a novel about memory and exile, about choices made without clear answers, and about what happens when the past can no longer be kept at a safe distance. Set against the Adriatic coast - sun-bleached streets, stone houses, heavy summer air, and the endless hum of cicadas. Published here chapter by chapter.

Wattpad is forcing me to create an entire description and name, so let's ruin any credibility I have as a fanfiction writer by simply saying it: this is a fanfic made by a college loser boy in his spare time. It is (at the time of writing) just ONE short story inspired by the Magnus Archives/Protocol. RustyQuill makes the Magnus Universe, and all rights are attributed to it. They're the giga god-brains who wrote this whole universe into reality; I am some schmuck who's not able to understand calculus. This is based on a campaign I was going to run for The Magnus Archives Tabletop. However, due to drama in my friend group, I was unable to run it. Due to the death of William Richards, a paranormal private investigator, letters had been sent to some of his closest friends, hoping they would take over his business. 4 of them agreed, one of them had worked with Mr. Richards for a couple of years as a sort of supernatural contract killer, one of them a deep sea diving instructor, a Vietnam Veteran, and a biker. However when they go to the Head Quarters of the William Richards Paranormal Private Investigation Company, they find it has been broken into, raided and almost all of his notes and previous work have been stolen or shredded. The only thing that remains is a list of contacts on his desk on his desk, however the list only has the reasons you would call them, not the names of who you should call.
