But this in itself sparks off an unexpected set of events, and the Archmage finds himself in a battle he had not prepared himself for....

This is a very short story, I wanted to write an interesting perspective. ALL CHARACTERS belong to Bethesda's "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." These characters are not mine, the dialogue is the only part I came up with. This is a short fanfiction. The whole of Skyrim, if not Tamriel, honor and respect the Last Dragonborn. Many come together, even if they're sworn enemies, to pay their final respects to him. This is written from a very popular fan favorite's perspective, I do hope you enjoy. :)

An archmage returns home after years from a quest that took him far out into the lands beyond. Upon his return, he finds the world he had known has changed. Irene is an editor for her boss, or rather childhood best friend, Charlotte. One day Charlotte requested that Irene read a draft of a story she was working on. Irene sits in her car and begins to read a story of a knight falling in love with a princess of an enemy nation, and figuring out the princesses's childhood best friend, a mage, is his enemy . Together they kill the mage, uniting the world and creating peace. Irene cannot help but feel the story has too many unanswered questions, mainly why the mage ending felt so ominous. Irene then pledges to edit the story but finds herself, ironically being hit by a truck and reincarnated into the world from her friend's story. Will Irene figure out the secrets that lie embedded in her friend's story? So my goal is to make this story unique in itself with several unexpected twists. It will be a worthwhile read with romance, mysteries, and a satisfying amount of angst.
