Jael is a Raider, and Raiders survive - no matter what waits in the sky. But when forbidden tech links her to a past someone tried to erase, Jael becomes the target of secrets buried since before the Fall. As the ARC close in and feelings for someone she shouldn't need grow harder to ignore, survival isn't her only fight anymore. This time, the truth - and her heart - are on the line.

In the underground colony of Speranza, Bill, an aging raider with hard-won botanical skills, survives a mission gone wrong when his partner Eraldo is killed on the surface after a drone attack. Shattered, Bill spirals into alcoholism and vanishes from city life until a young woman named Nora drags him home from a bar and forces her way into his routine, determined to keep him alive long enough to heal.

It was supposed to be a simple run. Just fly to the topside, scavenge some loot, and kill some pesky Arcs here, and there. Then, avoid trouble with fellow Raiders and head home to Speranza. But, no. Fate told otherwise. Now he is somewhere far from Rust Belt, with no contact from home nor sight of any raiders. He is alone in the wasteland, and surrounded by hordes of machines that he has never seen before. Will he survive? Will he prevail? Of course he is.
