The One Ring glowed in his hand, that was not brave enough to let go and let it be destroyed. All these years, all these battles, all for nothing? He remembered the death of his King, Gil-Galad. And of Thranduil's dear father, Oropher. Every thing, every one they lost.. So with that thought, the Lord of Imladris pushed the King of the Dunedáin of the cliff. He watched with blank eyes as the man's eyes widened, as he along with the Ring fell into the pit of Mount Doom. Destroyed. If he knew that would meant to be the beginning of another battle, Elrond would not dare to do so. He would never kill Isildur. ---- [ WARNING ] Violence. Blood. Maybe triggering stuffs. Idk I'm trying to be as mild as I can. Excuse my two a.m. idea that just would not leave me alone. So this is a what if AU that the One Ring was destroyed BUT in the process killed Isildur too and the men blamed the elves so whoop war. There will be lots of elements from both The LOTR and The Hobbit and The Silm, and I tweaked in few cultures and time differences and all the things that would happen differently due to this AU. Eru help me that I can actually remember all those lores.. Oh yeah, there will be canon characters and few ocs.
