Although the Germans managed to start their offensive with complete surprise and enjoyed some initial successes. They weren't ready to seize the initiative on the Western front. Whereas the German command didn't reach its goals. The ardennes operation inflicted serious losses and set back the Allied invasion of Germany by many weeks.

A soldier sits out in the cold Ardennes forest and wonders what may happen to him and his company. I am not fully sure how this story will turn out, but lets see. Also first time writing I welcome any constructive criticism or anything at all. Also not to sure about a certain schedule or not.
