Ardin Stories

Fear commands the people of three kingdoms. People known as shades thrive on this fear and threaten to over throw the kingdoms. The prince of Ignis, the land of fire, Phoenix is always over shadowed by his brother. After their mother dies, Phoenix and his brother take different routes. Phoenix rebels and distances himself from his family, while his brother, next in line to be king, does everything he can to win his fathers favoritism and practically shuns Phoenix from his life. Astrid is the princess of Castoria, the land of ice. No one will take her seriously because she's a girl, her sister is banished for marrying a commoner, and Astrid seems to be the only one still grieving. Ardin is the peaceful one. Although he is next in line for the throne, he acts like a regular commoner and many think he is not suited to rule. Ardin's thirst for knowledge makes him quite useful in the uprising, but even he might not live to see the end of it. The uprising of shades brings these three together as they fight for their lives and try to save their people from being consumed by the shades.
