In 1920, twenty-one-year-old Miki Kamizono leaves her home in Japan to pursue her dream at the prestigious Stonebridge School of Art in London. Onboard the steamship crossing the vast ocean, she meets Takumi Arakawa, a quiet and enigmatic artist whose talent is as striking as his silence.
Over six weeks at sea and beyond, they discover that art can speak the emotions words cannot. Through sketches, stolen glances, and quiet moments, a deep connection slowly forms-fragile, intense, and impossible to ignore.
The Color of Longing is a slow-burning tale of passion, artistry, and the tender ache of hearts learning to communicate beyond words.
