“People do not change. Not now, not ever…” Long ago, a great war broke out amongst demons from the Chain Cellar and humans from the world of Trinity, a group of three main islands. The heart of Trinity, Yassael, was a sacred place, their lovely princess, Arianala Lee Yolan, meaning more to them than their own lives. But they were attacked one day by a demon named Guaru. While the guards were being ambushed, a maid kidnapped the young princess and took her to the small village of Raomen. There, the girl was raised and known as Arian. When she turned sixteen, she cut off her hair and changed her name to Anton so that she could fight in the war. A week later she was found out and sentenced to death, but managed to escape the penalty because of a man named Cassian, the officer of her team in the war. Together they fought side by side and eventually fell in love. After deciding that they wanted to leave the war and run away together, they learned that the war was over and that the High Council, called Opiak, was killing soldiers by the dozen in fear of an information leak. Not wanting to be killed in vain, Arian slew both Cassian and herself before Opiak had the chance. A thousand years later, a new Yassallian heir has been born and a long forgotten warrior has come back to life…and something wicked is stirring deep in the minds of Opiak…
