Modern Tangled AU. I'm not an orphan, nor do I really know one, so I apologize if some of the facts are unrealistic, but the story isn't in our world anyways. Most children hated the thought of an orphanage, due to how many times the people running the place were mean in most TV shows. Ironically, they were actually Varian's safe haven. Foster parents never worked out. If they didn't end up just sending him back, he wasn't treated right. He even had to hop from different orphanages due to this and never stayed in one place longer than six months. He never had a stable home, life, friends, or even a family at all. When Varian lands in Corona Rd. Home for Kids, a little light begins to shine. However, he only begins to see just how messed up he is more and more.
