Because in the end, he doesn't love me as much as he loves his bottle of whisky. “Just because my love didn't work doesn't mean I'll give up. I'll be with him every step of the way. He needs his bottle and I need him. So I'll join him in his addiction. I'll make his addiction mine so this way we both can be happy." I love him too much to let him go.
