From the start, Aris and you had strong feelings for each other. You wanted him gone from the Spring, even if that meant killing him. To be honest, that was preferable. He, like any sane person, didn't take kindly to that. The fire between you both was inescapable, and to make matters worse, constantly engulfing both of your lives no matter how much you tried to stay out of the others path. When those flames began bothering everyone around you, they had the worst idea that anyone had ever come up with. Pair you two together and hope that you could learn to understand that the death of those closest was never meant to be blamed on anyone but the wicked.

You escaped the Glade with some of the Glader's.Life has going to get better now.At least, that's what everyone thought.Then, you get woken up in your sleep and assume it's Teresa.Instead, it's a boy you've definitely never seen before.After a little bit of arguing and him being shoved against a wall you learn that they boy you already dislike is named Aris.He's the least of your problems though.After finding out your trapped in what was supposed to be a safe place the work begins all over again.In the meantime you have one other goal. Get rid of that feeling of knowing Aris, and even worse, wanting to be close to him.After all, you've never met him before. What about Aris's side? He had escaped his maze only to be put on another mission before he could even blink.This one's worse than the others, but it's also more important.This meant he couldn't afford to be distracted or slip.Unfortunately, even after years, you still have the affect of making him want nothing more than to tell you everything.That's why he tries to be unbearably hateable or at the very least see you that way. As he expected deep down it failed, and you were pulling him in again.The worst part is you don't even know, and even when this is over, you never will. You'll never truly know what went on all those nights ago in WICKED between a variable and a worker.

Thomas always thought that this would be the end of the shucking story. Escape the Maze, survive the Scorch, defeat W.C.K.D, and get to the Safe Haven. But nope. Nada. Nil. Because if it was, he wouldn't be taken by the FBI (although taken is a strong word--he went pretty willingly with Agent Asshole), plopped into good ol' Beacon Hills with his memories back, which nobody still knows how the shuck happened, and left to deal with the McCall pack. Seriously, what is his life? At least he has the Survivors. That makes this whole shucking wreck easier to deal with. [This book is ongoing/a work in progress.
