Victoria Sinclair was born and raised on the Ark. She is the daughter of the Chief of Engineering. Her last name follows her wherever she goes. Her reputation preceds her, after all, she was known to be a rebel. Stealing and selling tech parts was her way of feeling something, until she got arrested, placed in the skybox waiting for the day to be floated. She has never been on Earth like everyone in the ship. Until now.As the humanity's last hope, Victoria is sent along with other prisioners to see if the Earth is survivable. She needs to face the challenges Earth gives her and survive against all odds. The human race is on the line. But will the Earth challenges be the only thing she has to face? Or will old wounds reappear, making her face her feelings? One thing she knew for sure: avoiding Bellamy Blake would be a hell of challenge. In the year 2364, Earth is nearly destroyed and extinct due to a war two decades prior. Only two global governments remain, The Terran Federation and The United Republic of Earth. Both come up with plans to save humanity and life on Earth with the projects themselves being secretive for unethical uses in both projects. Two high officials of the Terran Federation and parents to a healthy eleven year old son become skeptical of the idea for a possible future for their son Andrew. And as they are slowly cornered into having to work more and more on the project. They felt they only way to make sure their son was saved and protected from this project was to freeze him, and his pet dog. Promising him that they would return, however, they never do. Thousands of years later, Andrew awakens from his freeze to find himself on a desolate and terraformed planet that once was the Earth he knew and he has to learn to survive and find answers to why his parent's never returned. He also tries to find the answer if he is the only human alive on this dead planet. Only time will tell, time he doesn't have. Currently the story is still under work as there will be releasing a chapter every month to bimonthly. This is also the first draft of the story, any and all mistakes in lore or writing will be fixed in the final version. Rating: This Story is rated between Teen or TV14 for Violence, Gore and brief/minimal Language. Ultimus is a heavily based upon the Lore of Ark Survival Evolved/Ascended, most particularly Extinction, Lost Colony, and the Genesis Chronicles. This story will try not to break any and all lore statements from Ark's story. The World of Ark is that of Studio Wildcard and is 100% owned by them, all main and side characters within the story are original creations of me except for potential appearances of Wildcard's characters from Ark.

I was born in space, I've never felt the sun on my face or breathed real air or floated in the water. None of us have. For 3 generations the ark has kept whats left of the human race alive but now our home is dying and we are the last hope of mankind. 100 prisoners sent on a desperate mission to the ground. Each of us is here because we broke the law. On the ground there is no law. All we have to do is survive and we will be tested by the earth,by the secrets it hides,and most of all by each other.

Ark hasn't died but he has had a change in function he has found a new user who he has given his pier and they watch over the world destroying all novas in their path

When Clarke and the rest of the 100 are sent on the drop ship, they thought they were being given a second chance. But when they land on the ground, all they can see is a desert around them. The scorch. They run into a group of humans, the first they've seen besides each other. The letters WICKED are imprinted on their coats. WICKED invites the 100 to WICKED headquarters for refuge until WICKED finds out all 100 of the Ark delinquents are immune to the flare. The testing then began. The 100 are split up into multiple groups and put into different Trials. Now, twice a month, two kids from the ark are sent into the box and into the mazes. With the Ark resident's minds wiped remembering nothing but their names, how will they let the Ark know the Earth is survivable? How will they survive the Maze?
