The first world was so determined to eliminate him and send him off to the next life, but it turns out that the world just despises him in general. Who would have thought things would turn out like this? The world wavers, trying to come to terms with the entity that has emerged within it, and the only thing keeping this being at bay is its master-or perhaps a friend? Or maybe something more? Who would have thought that this serious man, who goes out at night to put people in hospitals by breaking the bones of criminals, would eventually find at least some peace when meeting this silly maid a long time ago.

On the Fourth of July, just months after the eventful New Year's Eve where the hero of Gotham City faced off against the zero temperatured villain Mr. Freeze and imprisoned former owner of Gothcorp Ferris Boyle and stopped eight deadly assassins from collecting a bounty given from the Joker to collect his, Batman finds himself once again having to save the city he swore to protect from the lowly criminals, but finds himself dealing with something far worse: the Cult of the Rat King. An unknown and mysterious cult leader that is targeting and abducting major city officials and public servants in the city, such as the Commissioner of the GCPD, James Gordon, the Head of the District Attorney's Office, Harvey Dent, Blackgate psychiatrist Harleen Quinzel and professor of psychology Jonathan Crane.

Mak Bauer looked after by Bruce Wayne after her parents die in an accident. Her life has been a lie until now. She learns what Bruce and his family has kept from you your entire life. She meets a new member of the family. Jason Todd aka Red Hood, throughout the time they spend together, Mak gains a friendship with the outlaw that turns into something new. Brianna, or Brie as she prefers to be called, has been locked in Arkham Asylum for 4 years since she was 14. She may closing in on be 18 but her mind stopped aging around 4 to 6 years old. Different people have tried to figure out why her brain is like this. Her parents don't want her back until they have a daughter who acts close to her own age. Another psychologist has given up on trying to cure her. Now they have passed her off to Doctor Jonathan Crane in hopes that maybe he can help her more than anyone else has. Doctor Crane has different plans with the young girl who acts younger than she is. There is no set time line for this story. Cillian Murphy is representing Jonathan. Joker is still just Jerome and Edward is still seen as Cory Michael Smith. Warning if anything happens between Jonathan and Brie remember that Jonathan is 27 and Brie is 18

This girl had had a rather crazy life, and she would laugh if you called her crazy. Shes had a life of hell in Gotham. She wanted to help those who need it. To bring certain peace to people. So what happens when she finds herself in Gotham and in the watch of a certain bat and his sidekicks? Plus the watch of the Prince of Crime? Nothing good thats for sure. Read if you like a book full of insanity, weirdos, bumpy lives and almost AU. I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT HARLEEN AND HOW SHE BECAME HARLEY AND I DO NOT KNOW ALOT OF THE CHARACTER'S BACKGROUNDS. Some stories are about Dixie Grayson or something weird like that, but I can assure you this is not one. Dick Grayson was a somewhat normal boy (not girl) with a somewhat normal life, as normal as the life of ward to Bruce Wayne by day and protégé to Batman by night can get. His evenings often consisted of the Dynamic Duo fighting crime, but who could have expected the effects that Scarecrow's latest serum would have? This can only end one way. Disclaimer: Characters, locations, backstories, artwork, images, etc. if it's not mine then let's give a round of applause to whoever actually owns it. Starting with the fan art I used in the cover because it was a truly spectacular bit of inspiration for this story.

However returning is not as easy as it sounds when she's returning to her first love Bruce Wayne. Not only is she struggling with the lost of her husband and dealing with her reappearing feelings for Bruce, she can't help but feel he's hiding something.

Aliv is Bruce Wayne's daughter she looks up to Dr. Harleen Quinzell and Dr. Pamela Isley but they both became villains and gets laughed at Aliv knows they can change but in order to show proof she went on a villainous path and Bruce Wayne working at Arkham Asylum cracking the joker to seeing something he didn't want to see

Psychiatrist Dr. Audrey Powers has always wanted to help people. Fresh out of college she manages to get a job at the one and only Arkham Asylum. Adjusting to her new job she happens to meet the Clown Prince of Crime. Soon enough she's taken through a whirlwind of chaos and has to make the decision that could change the rest of her life.

Solid Snake is far and away the single most effective soldier on the planet. When he is tasked with eliminating a threat on one of the most secure facilities on Earth. Which also happens to house some of the most insane criminals on the the planet, Arkham Asylum. He has 72 hours to neutralize a terrorist plot that is somehow tied into Arkham. Infiltration, stealth, leave no trace, standard black ops mission. Any evidence of his or the military's involvement in penetrating Gotham's home for the criminally insane will be denied. Snake is on his own, against the most lethal and psychotic villains to ever walk the streets. (I have lots of ideas, will be popping in with updates periodically, fairly good direction of where the story is headed, totally open to comments or ideas. Being a Solid Snake story, there has to be a cyborg ninja, torture, and a Metal Gear naturally. Feel free to suggest any villains from Arkham that Snake or his buddies should go up against, or any feedback, or to say hi.)

I've seen tons of amazing Harley x Joker stories about how the Joker made Harley crazy, so I thought I would try something different and write about their life after the last scene of Suicide Squad. Based off of Suicide Squad (among other sources), set after the Joker breaks Harley out. I'm so excited to see where this story goes! I really hope you guys like it! Slight changes from Batman Arkham Knight scenes. Jason is kiddnapped by Joker, tourtered, and Batman believes his second adopitive son to be dead. Three years later, the Arkham Knight appears, knowing Batman's every move. Made to express more of Jason's thoughts.

The Joker has a soft spot for Harley and on rare occasions, it shows.
