Solid Snake is far and away the single most effective soldier on the planet. When he is tasked with eliminating a threat on one of the most secure facilities on Earth. Which also happens to house some of the most insane criminals on the the planet, Arkham Asylum. He has 72 hours to neutralize a terrorist plot that is somehow tied into Arkham. Infiltration, stealth, leave no trace, standard black ops mission. Any evidence of his or the military's involvement in penetrating Gotham's home for the criminally insane will be denied. Snake is on his own, against the most lethal and psychotic villains to ever walk the streets. (I have lots of ideas, will be popping in with updates periodically, fairly good direction of where the story is headed, totally open to comments or ideas. Being a Solid Snake story, there has to be a cyborg ninja, torture, and a Metal Gear naturally. Feel free to suggest any villains from Arkham that Snake or his buddies should go up against, or any feedback, or to say hi.)

Vera Blackwood has lived in Gotham for the last 3 months. She has spent this time watching, analyzing and gathering data on the criminal procedures that take place all throughout the city, as well as the superheroes that come in and save the day. From a past with drug addiction and seeing it take the people she loves away, she's finally lost everything, and has dedicated whatever life she has left to cleaning to streets up in whatever means are necessary. Even if it means spilling blood, and a lot of it. After two weeks of planning, she assassinates two kingpins of the methamphetamine industry. After killing them and destroying their newest shipment, she is hunted down by The Red Hood, a man she had studied almost as much as Batman and Nightwing. His arrival in Gotham had been swift and the public had no idea his true identity. He has been hunting her down, as the drug cartels she's taking down piece by piece are all under his control. But she refuses to back off, thus a rivalry begins. In Vera's personal life, she's practically a ghost, though she begins attending nightly english classes at the local Gotham Public University in the pursuit of becoming an author one day (if she makes it that far). Her apartment is shitty and in one of the dirtiest parts of town, and the morning after her confrontation with Red Hood, she meets her nextdoor neighbor who shares a corner wall with her. She had assumed him to be old, as he listened to a lot of old music, but he's around her age and fairly handsome, though slightly annoying as he offers his help with her slipping box of things. Soon, the arrival of an old Mobboss that ruined her life in New York arrives in Gotham, and her rivalry with Red Hood becomes the least of her problems. Will she open up to him and get his help with the kingpin taking over the underground, or will she succumb to his efforts?

This story shows what Gotham was like after Batman died the last heroes are Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing, and more to be revealed throughout the story. This is the story of what happened after Halloween the day Batman died, the day Batman was unmasked. Chapters will short some are long. Not quite sure how many parts but I will try to get as much as possible. It will look like a script when someone is talking in a chapter but it's what I'm use to when Write Stories. However, the story is not only about Joker and Harley Quinn, it also has characters such as Batman, Alfred, Gordon, etc. Please remember, the characters and parts of the storyline are owned by DC. Joker finally escaped Arkham Asylum with the help of his new love Ms. Harley Quinn. His only goal in life is to make Batman kill him to prove that people are as bad as they seem, but once he meets Harley, he decides he isn't ready to die just yet. Instead the two come up with a new plan to trick Batman. Will their plan be successful? PS: Violence! Some would say gore, please be aware!!!

Far into the future Bruce Wayne retires after feeling his mind begin to slip into darkness after all these years. He needs someone to take his place. That is when he finds someone who can be the future of Gotham. (And yes I know about Batman Beyond which this shares a good amount of similarities too, but WAYYY more differences.)
