Eighteen students from Gotham Academy are selected to tour the now-decommissioned Arkham Asylum,where historians and city officials are documenting the infamous institution before it is permanently closed to the public. The trip begins like any other. The guide tells stories about The Joker, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and the countless criminals who once walked the halls. The students laugh, take pictures, and dare each other to explore restricted areas. Then the ferry leaves..... Moments later, the island goes into complete lockdown. Every bridge seals. The power fails. Communications are cut. Someone has been hiding beneath Arkham for years, waiting for the perfect opportunity to reactivate the asylum's forgotten underground security systems. The Jester, aka Cara Mitchell, is the twin sister to the infamous Joker. The Jester is just as insane as her brother-if not more. Together, they own most of the clubs in Gotham City, and are known for being the two worst and ruthless individuals in the town, and no one dares to question them. Joker has his Queen, and Jester has hers. Harley and Hadley Quinn, the queens of the crazy siblings. Take a glimpse in the life of two maddened souls, I promise, you're in for a ride. She worked with all sorts of criminal masterminds, to appeal to their better nature and transform them into reformed characters. It was only when Harleen was promoted to work with one man, known as Joker, that she realised that things were going to be difficult.
