Atlantis lives a completely normal life in her small neighborhood, but when the whole army shows up at her doorstep and snatches her from everything she has ever known, she must fight to survive in her cultivated cell at the top of a skyscraper, where the army is keeping every child and teen in the country. When strange beings kidnap her again, and take her to their aircraft for experiments, she will endure great pain and loss, but gain great courage and fearlessness. The beings drop her on an island called Valguero with another person of her own race named Hiccup Haddeck. Together, they brave this new world, encountering prehistoric creatures along the way, and in the air, a new romance blooming.
