He only heard a faint bump when he should have heard something a lot louder. Merlin's fears from the previous day came true as he sat there in bed trying to process it. The ringing had gone, but he still couldn't hear anything. OR Merlin gets injured in a fight and is rendered temporarily deaf. He doesn't want Arthur to find out, but he does anyway. Angst and hurt/comfort ahead.

This is a Merthur fanfiction, but it has multiple parts. It is a romance, not a tragedy There will be drama and adventure with it. The relationship evolves throughout the story. My friend, Emily Ashcraft, also the author of The Twilight Trio which is on my account, wrote this book, and this is the message directly from her regarding this story. Thank you to our friend who helped find readers for this awesome story! I will publish weekly if I can. I will write this as I go, so please stick with me. I will try to stray away from triggers so that more people can enjoy my content. There will be no suicide or self-harm in this story. If there is anything that could be a trigger, I will list it in the description of that chapter. I'm really excited about this storyline. I have created some of my own characters, but the rest belongs to BBC. The only things that belong to me are my original characters and the storyline. The story starts where season five ends, but forget about the heart-wrenching time skip in the last shot. This is not a modern AU. I will also try to link where I find the potions and rituals, as they are from real culture. I have adapted them to fit this time period that Merlin takes place in. I translate directly most of my spells from English to Latin, so I apologize if Google Translate messed up. I hope you enjoy this. A Merthur story. It has been fifty years since Arthur died, and Merlin has not aged. He finally finds a spell that can bring back the dead and give them eternal life. Will he be able to complete the potion and bring back his secret love?

A boy named Ven realizes his role in time join Ven as he journeys through time itself and teams up with a cast of colorful characters even his ancestor Ventrix as they fight to stop Rin the dark lord. Journeys end is going to be a awhile i'm so sorry its still in the works sorry.

So I have a couple headcanons I'd like to share or write out. Their probably gonna be "What if"s but whatever it's happening.

More than 1,000 years after Arthur's death, Merlin is still waiting for his King's return. He waits in an abandoned, yet fully decorated observatory on the shore of the Lake of Avalon. An observatory that he has decorated to his heart's content, a place truly fit for a King. He couldn't wait for the day that Arthur would see it.

"Merlin!" a voice rang out into the distance. "Merlin!" it repeated again, the distressed tone only increasing each time. Arthur had repeated his manservant's name several times now and so far, he'd gotten no results. Safe to say, he was worrying his princely socks off. He firmly shook Merlin's shoulder, begging for him to wake up on the inside, but on the outside, he was just shouting his name. "Merlin!" he yelled for the tenth time, the man who lay in front of him not responding. 'Well, of course he wouldn't,' the back of Arthur's mind told him. 'He's fallen off a cliff for God's sake.' OR Merlin falls off a cliff and Arthur learns that it's not the first time this has happened. So, Merlin tells Arthur a tale from when he was a boy.

Okay It's not a "merthur" challenge, it's an OTP challenge, but it still counts! ----- You lot might've heard of this challenge before and I have decided to ( finally ) take part in it. Wish me luck! ( No beta ) ( WARNING! Swear words and such, if you're sensitive to that sort of thing... )
