This is a fanfiction based on the popular television show Dill Mill Gayye. All the characters remain the same, though certain elements from Season 2 have been reimagined. The story picks up from the point where Armaan has done everything in his power to ensure that Riddhima and Sid can lead a happy married life. Riddhima, in turn, is trying her best to commit to her marriage. Being a traditionally raised woman, she firmly believes in making it work. Added to that is the guilt and respect she harbours for Sid - in her eyes, he offered her refuge and support at a time when no one else stood by her. Now that she knows Sid has feelings for her as well, she feels she cannot be selfish and must forget Armaan. Meanwhile, Dr. Shilpa finds herself increasingly drawn to Armaan, stirring feelings of jealousy and possessiveness in Riddhima that she can no longer ignore. "Armaan.." She breathed and held his hands in hers. She cried as he looked away from her. She wanted to hold him, close with their bodies entangled that no force would be able to pull them away but he wasn't even looking at her. And somehow this time she never doubted his love, somehow she knew it was because he was ashamed, because he didn't want to hurt her and her heart broke to see him in that state, the state where he loathed himself, where he felt unworthy of her.

The story is about Armaan and Riddhima. Quick recap: Riddhima has fasted for Karva chauth but Sid thinks she fasts for Armaan. His leg is wounded and she is trying to take care of him. Shashank tells Armaan the only way for Riddhima to be happy is if she is with Sid, and Armaan agrees to bring the two together. He helps them celebrate Karva Chauth and tries to get them together during the patang festival as well. The story starts at the festival. Shashank and Armaan see Sid yelling at Riddhima.

And where were Nikki and Abhi during the whole drama? Cuz Sid was Abhi's brother after all. And Nikki was Riddhima's best friend who knew the depth of Riddhima's love for Armaan. I also felt some Muskaan bravery and Rahul's smartness was needed. After all they're big AR shippers right . So What If they knew about the wedding? Would they try to stop it? Or find out the truth? Or at the least be there with Riddhima during this tough phase? Would they be there when she was in need of her friends? She doesn't have the courage to tell him that she's married and berates him whenever he apologizes for leaving her or confronts her. But here there's a twist Their friends are back and they know them in and out. Will things get sorted between Armaan Riddhima? Will the gang be able to handle them? Will they become friends again?
