Backstory: Akshara had Armaan and Abhira marry before dying to protect Abhira from Yuvraj, but also knowing that the two of them had a past while Armaan was Akshara's intern. Armaan brings Abhira back to Udaipur but they keep their marriage a secret, telling the family that Akshara asked Armaan to ensure Abhira completes her law education and to intern at Poddar Firm. Abhira resides in the Poddar's outhouse and works as an intern under Armaan, who is a senior partner of the firm.
