1939. Young Johnny is separated from his widowed father during Operation Pier Piper and ends up on the Island of Sodor, a place where every machine has their own faces. One of them is an E2 class tank engine named Thomas, who knows his father back in 1914. Meanwhile William Morris fights on different fronts (Europe -> North Africa -> Burma) with two things: survive to see his son again and figure out his childhood friend is. Thomas is a the NWR #1 tank engine who decides to look after Johnny who reminds him of someone in the last war.

Nicole would send letters to his base so that she'd stay in touch. Until one day she received a letter reading "when you get this call me." Which she did and this was but 6 months before graduation, her birthday, and close by to their 7 year anniversary. What will the letter say? Will Nicole and Cody stay together? Noah never knew what happened to Hailey that night he left and Hailey never told him. But nearly eight years later, he comes back.Back home to the place where he left Hailey. She wasn't the girl who got away. She was the girl who he had failed to keep.
