November 11th, 2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day. This short non-fiction story discusses the appreciation by the Dutch of how the Canadians liberated Nazi occupied Holland . I also touch on the lack of respect shown toward today's veterans.

Ang bansa ng Isle ay pinamumunuan ng tatlong pamilya. Nagsimula ito nang matagpuan ang bansa ng lalaking magkakaibigan na sina Bien Accord, Cyle Amity at Pors Armistice sa kanilang paglalayag. Ang tatlong magkakaibigan ay tinawag na 'The Royal Trio of Peace'. Ito ay dahil sila rin ang nagdala ng kapayapaan kasabay ng pagtagpo at pagdating nila sa bansa. Simula noon, ang pamilya na ng mga Accord, Amity at Armistice ang namumuno sa bansang ito sa mga sumusunod pang termino at henerasyon. Ano kaya ang posibleng mangyari pa sa bansa ng Isle kung isang reyna ang gagawin ang lahat para maabot lang ang hangad niyang siya ang lang mamuno? Magiging sagabal kaya siya sa pagmamahalan ng dalawang tao? Patuloy bang mamumuhay ang mga tao ng Isle sa kapayapaan o digmaan?

Basic information

He's smart and good looking, she's fair and tall . He strictly follows his deep principles, she,well, er- has a lot to work on in the principle department. There's war going on inside her ;and he has got to help her come to a resolve-an ARMISTICE- within herself. To do this, he needs all the help he can garner. Anytime the word, "HELP" ,pops up in his head, his gaze moves to the third heavens, as he knows that that is the best station to draw help for those in the deepest of quagmires. Gustin Booker is an 18 year old high school senior.Z. Tennyson is a 20 year old ,well," free" woman!. Let's join 'em and their friends as they work hard to put the challenge of LIFE in its place.

Not a work I think particularly highly of but it's always interesting to look back at ones past endeavours. This is a poem I wrote about war for an Armistice competition around 4 years ago. This work was published in an anthology of poems and short stories, if I can find the book then I will update this page with the name. P.S Yes I rhymed 'more' with 'more'. I was 15, what can I say?
