This is a fic that has not been able to leave me alone. My first attempt at a Strike Back fic. Set after the last episode and John Porter arrives back to England after being away for three months. However, his relief of being home is short lived when Frank Arlington still wants Porter dead. Layla does what she thinks she needs to and send him and a new recruit Emily to Ireland under new Identities. Fun occurs while they are away and spending time with each other, but are they falling for each other because of who they are? or who they are pretending to be?

Inspired by the Strike Back viral vid, one amazing minute that proved a tour de force for Richard Armitage, a ficlet that delves into the mind of a soldier in dire straits . . .Rated R for strong language. I also have a novel-length Porter/Thompson AU I will be posting later, called "Truce."

This short story is a fictional tale about one man's journey as a father. Dear Friends, At the end of my June 15, 2013 blog post over on Wordpress, I kind of unintentionally set myself a challenge--regarding my hoping to see Talented British actor Richard Armitage in a fatherly romantic comedy role one day. And today is Father’s Day in the U.S. So this little father themed short story popped into my head. I hope that you enjoy it. The Rover or The Banish'd Cavaliers is a play in two parts written by the English author Aphra Behn. It was a very popular Restoration comedy. Behn had famously worked as a spy for Charles II against the Dutch. However, Charles was slow to pay her for her services and slow to meet his promises, if he ever paid her at all, and Behn sought to make money first with her poetry, and then with plays and novels. The Rover appeared on the stage in 1677, and it was popular enough that a second part appeared in 1681. The play appeared for a long run, enabling Behn to make a fair income from it (the author received the proceeds from the box office every third night the play ran).
