after serena leaves a certain mark on ash's face and goes to the hoen region, she starts missing him a lot and may(the hoen region top coordinator at that point) who also had felling for ash at the start tells serena that even tho she wants to be even better in contests, that they will still be there but ash wont. after a couple of years(ash DOES age he starts at ten in the kalos) serena decides to go find ash and finaly tell him how she feels

disclaimer: I don't own pokemon two years after ash leaves the kalos region, he decides to come back to meet up with his friends again. This time to fix up some mistakes he made, but is it to late to fix the biggest mistake ever: ignoring the fact serena had a crush on him?
