Chapter: 1 My name is Pranita. I am 16 years old. I live in India. I am not good at studies. But I am really good at dreaming. I love BTS. I love Korean dramas. I love Korean culture. I love K-pop. I only know two Korean words. "Annyeong" and "Saranghae". But I say them with my whole heart. It is 12 AM. The whole house is sleeping. My room is dark. Only the light from my old phone is on. In my ear, I have one wired earphone. The other one is hanging. I watch Korean dramas on MX Player and Tepicine. They are Hindi dubbed. Shows like Business Proposal, True Beauty, and Crash Landing On You. I don't understand Korean yet. But I understand everything with my heart. After watching dramas, I play BTS songs. And I dance in my small room. There is no mirror. There is no camera. There is only me, the music, and my dream. Last month I tried to do something big. I gave the HYBE online audition. I practiced for 3 days. But when I was uploading the video... My phone froze. The video did not get uploaded. I cried a lot that night. But the next day I stood up again. Because giving up is not in my dictionary. People tell me, "Focus on your studies." No one understands me. But I know what I want. I want to go to Korea. I want to become a K-pop idol. I open my phone and look at photos of Seoul. The bright lights. The big stages. And I whisper in the dark: "One day. One day I will go to Seoul. One day my name will be on that stage."
