Somewhere deep in the universe, there is an alien earth, whose people made of sound the very essence of their life. The isles of the north too, agitated by their divine guide, have come to their final showdown. However, these are only the manifestations of an ancient curse that has been threatening to annihilate the lands of Hertzia for more than five thousand years. When a desperate scream, its voice unknown, echoes from the mountains, the people interpret it as a call to arms. Two past rival forces unite to contrast the impending apocalypse, that could end with the irreparable fracturing of the very source of existence: the Hertz. The War of Spring is a personal interpretation of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, my favorite orchestral piece, envisioned as an epic fantasy where instruments become living beings, and music itself becomes breaths, words, steps, action. The Greek gods in general honestly don't mind modern times. Sure, a whole lot less people believe in them, and that greatly reduces their powers, but it saves them time since they don't have to talk to priestesses, or help heroes kill monsters, or make earthquakes to swallow pesky mortals. But one day, in the middle of breakfast (I know, right? The blasphemy) aliens arrive. And the aliens have their own gods. And their gods are stronger, because the aliens actually believe in them. And so a mix of different gods from different pantheons embark on a quest to make humanity believe in them again. Unfortunately, times have changed, and that won't be as easy as it was thousands of years ago.

The young children grew up next door to someone special. It was hard to miss, their uniqueness. But it was safe, and they watched them eagerly from the small window in their room. Their house was special too, but that was easy to miss. We don't care about canon here, and there are going to be multiple stories involved, although at this point I have no plans to include crossovers.

Lyssa Grant, a 16 year old student, is constructing a time machine in class, when her name is chosen to be sent to an unknown time in the past. Once she arrives in this mysterious environment, she realizes she isn't in her home town, New York anymore, more or less the same year. Follow her journey through trying to regain access to her time, and possibly gain a love life.

Only the core concept, title and the protagonist's name are kept the same.* ----- A ribbon, a hair-clip, a pen, a notebook and a radio, held in the arms of a sixteen year old girl... ... It's been four hundred of years since The Rot ravaged the world and sent people downward with its decaying touch, four hundred years since humanity has inhaled even a breath of fresh air and twenty years since the first fifth-generation child was born in the shelters deep underground. And now, beneath the poisoned earth at the edge of the world, only six of them remain living in the last surviving shelter, the last surviving Lifelight illuminating a darkened board. For the rest were claimed by The Rot. Protected at all costs, older generations shields the worst of the consequences, the worst of the panic, but truth cannot be hidden forever. With increasing tensions and increasing crime, it becomes clear that there are only two outcomes: to die in strife or to die in silence. That is, until an inexplicable hope presents itself in the form of a radio transmission originating from the single most uninhabitable place on Earth, the surface. But it's too late, too late for most, other than the most protected, the youngest, the fifth generation. The waiting game is over and now it's a race against time. Before The Rot reaches them, before they run out of supplies, the handful of survivors must reach out and find the source of the transmission.
