She left after she turned him into a vampire, afraid that her decisions would affect her if she stayed. However, it was only the start of an empire she had never gotten the chance to witness being built by the same man she had also built into a monster. Aro Volturi had risen, so had his empire. However, something felt wrong, as if something was missing. He never found it and stopped looking for it. He always sees flashes of her face he used to trace. The feeling was ancient, almost wavering as time went by. He had forgotten about his creator. But not for long, not until fate finally moved.
