For England captain Leah Williamson, control and composure have always been her greatest strengths, until she meets the one player who refuses to be contained. Ava Moretti is chaos in boots: fierce, unapologetic, and playing for everything Leah represents as the enemy. When their clubs collide, so do their worlds, on and off the pitch. What begins as a heated rivalry filled with reckless tackles and sharper words slowly unravels into something far more dangerous. Rue (v.) to bitterly regret or feel remorse for something Beatrice Levine had a legacy. She played her way up through Arsenal's academy and England Youth groups. She'd won trophies, medals, individual awards, the 2022 Euros. And she did it all alongside Leah Williamson. Beatrice was a ray of sunshine - loved by fans and teammates alike. She worked hard and laughed harder. Her shirt was the highest sold women's shirt in the armoury. Her and Leah were known affectionately for their childhood friendship. She went off the 2023 World Cup as vice captain and a promise to Leah that she'd win it for her. And she never came home. Six months of silence. No football, no social media, no contact with anyone. Not even Leah. The news came in January 2024. Beatrice Levine had signed for Benfica. And half a season later, Barcelona put in an offer she couldn't refuse. Back at the top of her game, and with the 2025 Euros fast approaching, there's only so long Beatrice can avoid her old teammates. With her newfound Spanish friends and a mildly aggressive three legged cat, Beatrice must decide if she's ready to return to the life she once left behind.

She never thought she'd wear an England shirt. At sixteen, Olivia "Liv" Brooks is a quiet Arsenal academy midfielder who spends more time doubting her talent than celebrating it. An unexpected call-up to the England Under-17s should be the happiest moment of her life-but to Liv, it feels like the beginning of being found out. Then everything changes. After impressing the senior coaching staff at St George's Park, she's given a chance no one saw coming: a place in the England Lionesses camp. Surrounded by the players she's spent years looking up to, Liv is convinced she doesn't belong. Every misplaced pass feels like proof she's made it there by mistake. Every team meeting brings another wave of anxiety. And every day becomes a battle between the footballer everyone else can see... and the one she can't. But sometimes, all it takes is one person to notice you're struggling-and for Liv, that person is Leah Williamson. As Liv slowly finds friendship, support, and the courage to ask for help, she begins to realise that bravery isn't about never being scared-it's about showing up anyway. A heartfelt story about football, self-belief, anxiety, and discovering that sometimes the hardest person to convince you belong... is yourself.
