Four criminals with different lives, adapting to a harsh world unexpectedly find themselves compelled to unite for a mission they would never have imagined agreeing to. However, this mission could either lead to their ultimate downfall or greatly transform them. As they encounter the girls they are tasked to eliminate and proceed to make their life unbearable, the question is... will this mission bring about their own downfall, bring about a change within them or will they successfully finish it?

Owen is a master thief. He's been thieving for 20 years now. His hands have grown nimble, quick and undetectable. His feet have grown light, fast and flexible. His mind has grown sharp and developed an edge with the cruelty of a knife. He's happy. He's fickle. He's Owen. Carr is an assassin. She knows how to kill without a trace, without one drop of blood. She's been in the trade for 23 years now. And in the secret cult of assassins underground, hers is a name no one wants to mar their tongues with. Ruz is an arsonist. He sees the world as a collection of buildings to be burnt down. Fire is him. He is fire. The only color he sees is black - the black of ash. For 21 years of his life, he'd burnt buildings down, set fires and watched their tongues lick up and down iron and steel, sweat and heart alike. But Owen, Carr and Ruz are people whose lives sit on a precarious balance. All it takes to make their fortresses come crumbling down is each other. Ripples follow every wave. And sometimes, these ripples can wreak more damage than the wave itself can. They've made their waves. Now, it's time for the Ripple Effect.

So this is the first story that I ever wrote on wattpad. It is loosly based off a vocaloid song called Wildfire, by gumi. I'm sorry that this story was so short and if you don't like it :)

Let's just say there are four criminals who happen to be girls and four everyday casualties who happen to be male. The book is WAY better than the description, we swear to everything. Anywhore, hope you enjoy, if you don't then move on don't give us shit.

But first, she needs the money. The annual Valerian Guard competition seems like the best place for that. When this unlikely pair are forced to work together, they find an even bigger threat that overrides both of their situations. Will they be able to overcome old grudges and greed to defeat this threat? This story is set in the fantasy world of Valeria, were a portion of the population have powers, known in Valeria as 'Skillsets'. People who don't have powers can harness the wisp of magic that normal people can access, but even the most powerful magicians can't beat the most average of skillsets. Although, the magicians can do all sorts of types of skills, that range from water powers to super strength, when Skillsets can only use one, specific type of skill. Mostly action, adventure, and sarcastic remarks. Although somehow a little bit of romance snuck into here somehow... just a little bit :)
