Although, in the OASIS, there is a competition held by the founder James Halliday. After his death, he held a competition for a hunt of an Easter Egg. If anyone finds it, they will become the CEO of the company that founded OASIS. Enter Willow Octavia Watts, a player in the OASIS, is set to find the Easter Egg before some dirtbag named Nolan Sorrento finds it first and takes over the OASIS. Zompocalypse is a story about how a rogue hacker derails Wade's plans for creating a better Oasis one year after winning the competition. As the new CEO of GSS, Wade 'Parzival' Watts, must reunite the former High-Five to fight this new threat. After he slaughtered every player on planet doom, the day was noted as one of the bloodiest and terrible days in Oasis. Wherever he would go, his very presence invoked fear into any players of oasis who crossed his path. He set out to solve his father's Easter egg and even found all three keys but before he could claim the egg, he vanished. His score vanished off of the leaderboard with him, leaving many to believe that the son of Halliday disappeared and the "Flame Reaper" was no more. One day the player known as "Parzival" is banished onto a desert planet similar to Tatooine by IOI, and runs into the notorious "Flame Reaper".
