This manuscript has been recently found in the possession of one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's distant relatives, unpublished. It was to be the final story in The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes, but for some reason was never published. Here it is now in its unabridged form.

A Study in Scarlet is a 1887 detective novel by British author Arthur Conan Doyle. Written in 1886, the story marks the first appearance of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, who would become two of the most famous characters in popular fiction. The book's title derives from a speech given by Holmes, an amateur detective, to his friend and chronicler Watson on the nature of his work, in which he describes the story's murder investigation as his "study in scarlet": "There's the scarlet thread of murder running through the colourless skein of life, and our duty is to unravel it, and isolate it, and expose every inch of it." John Watson had no idea what he was in for when he got put with Sherlock Holmes as his roommate. Sherlock may be a Genius but that does not stop him from being an arrogant arse and a complete idiot when it comes to human interaction. However, as the two get to know each other, Sherlock finds that not only does he fail to resent Johns company, but he actually begins to enjoy it. John is intrigued by his curious companion and slowly he is pulled into Sherlock's crazy world. This is the story, that has been told many times before, of acquaintances, becoming friends, becoming lovers, and of one man succumbing to the one thing he had tried to separate himself from his whole life: human nature. A six year old little girl escaping an abusive home life finds her way into Comte's home. This a mini-series of when Alara first came to the mansion. *Snippet* A soft "oh" fell from her mouth and she brightened up with delight. "Well, I like it. You should talk more." Alara could hardly get enough of hearing the way he spoke. It was nothing like she had heard before, being cooped up in her home all day long. "Don't worry, we can never get him to shut up," Another voice interrupted, gruff and sounding slightly irritated. Two more residents had come in, having heard the gossip of her arrival. "Theo, don't scare her." The other came up to the table, sitting across from her. They, too, didn't sound quite like the French but it was close. An angelic smile soothed any fears that might have arose. "Hello there, kleine bloem. I'm Vincent and this is my little brother Theodorus, but we all call him Theo. You're a beautiful little girl."

The Lost World is a novel released in 1912 by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle concerning an expedition to a plateau in the Amazon basin of South America where prehistoric animals (dinosaurs and other extinct creatures) still survive. It was originally published serially in the popular Strand Magazine and illustrated by New-Zealand-born artist Harry Rountree during the months of April-November 1912. The character of Professor Challenger was introduced in this book. The novel also describes a war between indigenous people and a vicious tribe of ape-like creatures.
