Back in 1981, Arthur Fleck was imprisoned for the violent and murderous rampage he started after his first appearance as the Joker. That same year Bruce Wayne became an orphan after the tragic murder of his parents and has since become a mysterious figure in high society, spending years locked away in his mansion still maintaining his wealth and status with the help of his butler. Bruce has spent years on his own, catering weapons and dark nights to criminals of the worst sort as the Batman. In the years that followed his first appearance, he took on a partner known by the public as Robin. The first, a young circus performer who watched his parents die by the hand of the mob. Dick Grayson became Bruce's ward, but had left him in his later years as the sidekick to create his own identity. Now, Bruce has taken on a new Robin whose life is about to take a turn especially after Batman and Nightwing are called to a disturbance at Arkham Asylum.

After having been locked up in Arkham, Arthur Fleck reencounters his past and at the same is faced with an uncertain future where there seems to be only a small light of hope at the end of the tunnel.

You constantly hear a man's laughter coming from next door. Unsure of who it is, you label him "The Man Who Laughs". The title is from the movie the man who laughs but it is also the title of a Batman comic. I do not own the title nor do i own Joker/ Arthur. This is just a story made for fun.
