A retelling of Arthurian legend. Amelia Gwyndle (call her Milly unless you want a swift kick in the family jewels) is determined to make it in Agnar Academy. There weren't many ladies who made it past the first year, but then again there weren't many ladies that had been raised by one of the most powerful wizards in history either. Orphaned as a baby, Milly was raised by her Uncle Emrys who resides in the King's castle as the kingdom's official Wizard. Having grown up roaming the castle, Milly had admired the knight's her entire life. Watching their training and hearing of their adventures, there was nothing else she wanted to do. This was her only shot, and she was determined to succeed. She may learn some secrets of her past along the way, and the destiny of her future as well.

King Arthur has ruled over Camelot ever since his father, Uther Pendragon, was killed. By his side stand the loyal Knights of the Round Table and his trusted adviser Merlin. Merlin has been by his side for years and the pair have made every attempt to keep each other close. A darkness is beginning to falling over Camelot though; one that is setting Arthur's future in stone. Merlin will do anything to save him. Even if it means revealing his biggest secret to keep him safe. Secrets make you lonely, but they also keep you alive. This was a lesson Lydia Pendragon learned at a young age. Living in the heart of Camelot, with a king who would love nothing more than to see your kin dead, lying became second nature. Especially when it's your own uncle who would give the orders to light the pyre. Camelot was not a kind place to those with magic, and Lydia couldn't wait to escape its bounds. The City of Adema will bring great prosperity in trade to Camelot, but it's war-filled history has come back to haunt. Merlin wishes nothing more than to protect his friends, but how is he supposed to protect them from himself? There's something inside of him, and it's not his own. Merlin has been around for the last 1500 years and is eaten by guilt. 1500 of self-reflexion, of what he could have done, what he shouldn't have done, reflection on the people he saw dying. In the modern world, he try to blend as much as possible, pretending to be a student and waiting for his king to come back. But when that day comes, Arthur is not the only one to come back and Merlin doesn't know how to deal with all the pain he feels. Meet other members of the legends that inspired the show, and delve most deeply into Gwaine and his past, present, and future.

In a world of legends, a once great kingdom, quelled by a searing darkness, is now in the claws of a powerful faceless enemy. Only the Red Dragon, foretold in Merlin's Last Prophecy, can defeat this enemy and bring light from out of the darkness.

King Arthur reigned, everyone had a good time and then he died. Tale as old as time, right? Well, I thought so too. Until a letter ended up finding it's way to me asking me to travel to the Kingdom of Luximis, a country I had never heard of. It turns out I am the long lost heir to the country, not only that but I've been the heir hundreds of times over as many genders, names and faces but the first name I held? Apparently, Arthur Pendragon, the Warrior King, Son of the Bear. The cycle is doomed to play out over and over, until something changes. Until I am not killed by my offspring. That shouldn't be an issue now, I was brought up in the outside world. I know the mistakes Arthur, or I, made all those centuries ago. I can bring my Kingdom out of the shadows and back into the world this time, right? All I have to do is avoid sleeping with this cycles Morgan Le Fay. Should be easy enough, only for one slight problem. Emrys doesn't know who Morgan is this time around, I really don't want to marry Gwen and I am pretty sure I am in love with Emry's, this cycles Merlin. Am I doomed to fail before I even become Ruler? Or is this the kind of shake-up this story needs for it's happily ever after?

But to the Druids they is known as Cato. A young boy is sent to Camelot, to learn more about his magic. He accidentally becomes the crowned prince's manservant. His name: Merlin. But to the Druids he is known as Emrys. A/N: don't correct me on they/them pronouns followed by is. It sounds wrong, but it's grammatically correct. There is no love interest for Y/n (not till book 2 anyways (Gwaine)), though I did involve Merthur and Morgwen. I will try to update every other Saturday, but I make no promises there.
