Slow updates because it takes me a long time to read through the transcripts and decide how and when I want to change bits of it. He's been given a second chance but has been warned to NOT mess this one up too. He has all the memories of what happened before his death, even those he shouldn't have cause he wasn't there but he rolls with it. Arthur assumes Merlin would remember too but he's sadly mistaken when Merlin acts the same as "the first time around." Arthur's top priority besides making sure Merlin still becomes his servant: Get Merlin to tell him about his magic or purposefully look for it and catch him. He wants this so they can pretty much start out with no secrets between them. Little do they know, there's something different with Morgana this time around.

All these years of Merlin having to hide who he truly was around Arthur, he never thought that could ever tell him the truth. As much as Arthur never knew how to show it, he did truly care about Merlin, no matter who he was...
