In which Merlin is court sorcerer, and the knights bet that they can beat Merlin in a fight. Merlin happily accepts the challenge, knowing well that the knights of Camelot don't stand much of a chance against him. He is the most powerful sorcerer in the world after all. Meanwhile, Arthur struggles to keep his feelings for Merlin under wraps. Merlins a sassy shit, and Arthur's in love with Him, obviously.

A loud yell from the sky. A dragon flying in. The crowd screaming and dissolving. The hateful look in Morgana's eyes. The man jumped off the violent creature, waved his hand in my direction, and the flames were out. Complete silence. Not even the dragon was breathing. It almost seemed as terrified of the man that rode him as the people where of him. The sky was dark now. Darker than it had been. It started pouring, but the rain was silent too. "WE HAD A DEAL!" The man yelled. His voice higher than a dragon's roar. The dragon stepped back, whimpering by the dragonlord. Last one, I would guess, as I was there when the other last one was killed. "Emrys." Morgana's voice was filled with venom.

Slow updates because it takes me a long time to read through the transcripts and decide how and when I want to change bits of it. [Bit of an AU -> Everyone is accepting of gay/lesbian couples but Uther still wants Arthur to marry for the sake of Camelot] Arthur wakes up, his most recent memory is him dying. He's been given a second chance but has been warned to NOT mess this one up too. He has all the memories of what happened before his death, even those he shouldn't have cause he wasn't there but he rolls with it. Arthur assumes Merlin would remember too but he's sadly mistaken when Merlin acts the same as "the first time around." Arthur's top priority besides making sure Merlin still becomes his servant: Get Merlin to tell him about his magic or purposefully look for it and catch him. He wants this so they can pretty much start out with no secrets between them. Little do they know, there's something different with Morgana this time around.

"Please welcome, the Knights of Cenred!" Another bunch of knights... another shitty kingdom... so many dishes later... Arthur was making peace with all the kingdoms of the land. And everyone was meeting in Camelot. "Welcome, the Knights of Storno!" My head snapped up. Arthur looked just as surprised. The beautiful blue capes, the majestic horses, the royal seal... Storno... They're still alive. Prince Otho bowed, as everyone else had. The knights bowed, as everyone else had. They took their place beside Cenred's men. Everyone was staring. And an openly gay Merlin and slightly confused Arthur I was told my chapters were a tad bit too long, so I try to keep them all within 700-1200 words I will publish in parts. Merlin felt the golden light fade from his eyes as he looked to Arthur, who was standing mere meters away from him. He didn't even have to look at the King to feel the expression on his face. No sooner had he looked to the other man; Merlin had frozen on the spot. It was as if the world had stopped at their feet and that he and Arthur were the only two people standing in it. OR Merlin reveals his magic to save Arthur's life in the midst of a battle. Wracked with fear for Arthur, he runs away, and Arthur finds himself unable to let Merlin go.
