Merlin and Arthur awaken to find something has changed drastically with each of them.

Merlin felt the golden light fade from his eyes as he looked to Arthur, who was standing mere meters away from him. He didn't even have to look at the King to feel the expression on his face. No sooner had he looked to the other man; Merlin had frozen on the spot. It was as if the world had stopped at their feet and that he and Arthur were the only two people standing in it. OR Merlin reveals his magic to save Arthur's life in the midst of a battle. Wracked with fear for Arthur, he runs away, and Arthur finds himself unable to let Merlin go.

Slow updates because it takes me a long time to read through the transcripts and decide how and when I want to change bits of it. [Bit of an AU -> Everyone is accepting of gay/lesbian couples but Uther still wants Arthur to marry for the sake of Camelot] Arthur wakes up, his most recent memory is him dying. He's been given a second chance but has been warned to NOT mess this one up too. He has all the memories of what happened before his death, even those he shouldn't have cause he wasn't there but he rolls with it. Arthur assumes Merlin would remember too but he's sadly mistaken when Merlin acts the same as "the first time around." Arthur's top priority besides making sure Merlin still becomes his servant: Get Merlin to tell him about his magic or purposefully look for it and catch him. He wants this so they can pretty much start out with no secrets between them. Little do they know, there's something different with Morgana this time around.

In which Merlin is court sorcerer, and the knights bet that they can beat Merlin in a fight. Merlin happily accepts the challenge, knowing well that the knights of Camelot don't stand much of a chance against him. He is the most powerful sorcerer in the world after all. Meanwhile, Arthur struggles to keep his feelings for Merlin under wraps. Merlins a sassy shit, and Arthur's in love with Him, obviously.

Merlin was doing his everyday chores assigned by Authur when Morgana burst into the room screaming at Merlin when he was called to the training grounds by one of the guards and when he reaches the grounds something happens to him... read to find out this is a Merthur fanfic so if u don't ship this then don't read and pls don't judge I'm not the best at writing stories.

"Merlin!" a voice rang out into the distance. "Merlin!" it repeated again, the distressed tone only increasing each time. Arthur had repeated his manservant's name several times now and so far, he'd gotten no results. Safe to say, he was worrying his princely socks off. He firmly shook Merlin's shoulder, begging for him to wake up on the inside, but on the outside, he was just shouting his name. "Merlin!" he yelled for the tenth time, the man who lay in front of him not responding. 'Well, of course he wouldn't,' the back of Arthur's mind told him. 'He's fallen off a cliff for God's sake.' OR Merlin falls off a cliff and Arthur learns that it's not the first time this has happened. So, Merlin tells Arthur a tale from when he was a boy.

Merlin lays his life on the line to save Arthur yet again, only this time there are witnesses, lots of them. Only Arthur prevents him going to the headman's axe straight away, but Arthur alone cannot save him. That is up to both of them. All these years of Merlin having to hide who he truly was around Arthur, he never thought that could ever tell him the truth. As much as Arthur never knew how to show it, he did truly care about Merlin, no matter who he was...
