Humanity were always on the bottom end of the food chain amongst the other three races... Always falling victim to the machinations to the supernatural in its biblical form... Which is the reason why they created me... A being made to be weapon in defending humanity from the threat of those who are not human... They created to become a killer, a monster, a being that is capable of fighting against the supernatural in anyway they can... And my creation is also my purpose... Just as all of my brethren had shared as well...

Humans always manage to break the Circles that all creatures must adhere to. Yusei, and a few others, born from those broken circles and called the Broken, are trying to figure out why, and put a stop to humanity's destructive ways before they destroy the world. They each have powers drawn from the circles they were born from, and aren't afraid to cause their own destruction to stop the humans. Will they stop the humans, only to have destroyed the world themselves, will they fail to stop the humans, or will they succeed in their mission? There are so many possible outcomes...

It is a story set in the future, when a scientist decides to try and unlock the next stage of human evolution through the power of artificial evolution. His proof of concept, an artificial human with powerful magical abilities, proved to be his downfall, as this human escapes and unlocks mysteries of the universe, that should have stay hidden.
