A story where a PACIFIST of all slugcats ends up in the decaying, rot filled wasteland known as 'Rain World'. Your frail frame and sickly nature will do you no good here, and your vow of peace is nothing but a detriment to you. Sick, starving and having a broken leg isn't the best case scenario in such a place, but when you see that tell-tale sign of another slugcat. A faint hope blossoms. Or A Pacifist (You) ends up in Rain Word and finds Artificer. Notes: You go by They/Them, so everyone can suffer while reading my story equally. Artificer is female in this fanfic. I'm sorry male Arti fans. Swear warning: The Artificer is not known to be very kind with words. Suicidal Ideation: This will also be present, incase you have trouble with this topic, it may be best you refrain from reading this. Blood and Violence: This book will not shy away from depictions of blood, due to me being pretty new to this type of story, don't expect a full blown detailed depiction of every injury, wound or malady that is present. Music: Music will be offered to you. Most of it will be ambience, with the occasional fight theme here and there. Best friends have a hold on each other stronger than any other oath in the world. Or so thought Basil and Alfur who would rather die than leave each other's side. Until a single choice changes their worlds and what they decided to split apart, fate brought back together. This is a small collection of stories for two D&D characters I made to live in the Exandria universe for a friend's campaign. Basil's story went to Strixhaven and Alfur ended up as an NPC in a separate story. Categorically, I suppose it's some sort of Critical Role universe fanfiction, however the lore is based off of how my friend runs her Wildemount campaign and not the show.

Animal Companion- Whisper, the Dire Wolf. Zaree/Zeraa: ChanGelinG (thouGh she prefers beinG, and identifies as a woman. As that's what she considers her natural selves to be.) Zaree's form is that of a mixed ethnicity Human with blonde hair that Goes all the way to her ankles, Zeraa's form is that of an Underdark purple skinned Drow with a white shortcut bob. Zaree is a TwiliGht Domain Cleric, while Zeraa is a Quandrix Sorcerer. Luckyeye Featherfoot- Half Owlfolk / Half Rabbitfolk. Brute, Great Weapon and Defense style, FiGhter + Oath Of Conquest Paladin + Order Of The Immortal Mystic. Animal Companion- Slitha the Poisonous Snake. GlitterwinG Scaletail- Half Fairy / Half Copper DraGonborn. Echo Knight, Unarmed Combat, FiGhter + Order Of The Soul-Knife Mystic + ColleGe Of Creation Bard. An oriGinal story with oriGinal characters. Each character was desiGned as a D&D 5e mix with homebrew backGrounds and races before beinG Novelized into this story.

What's the best kind of family: found or biological? With Annalise she can barely remember what her biological parents looked like; so her answer to this question was always found. But after monsters called hollows attacked her village. She and her found family go on a journey to find help in taking their village back. But of course no journey is complete without a rollercoaster of directions and discovery.

Ported from my Ao3 account, probably not the best story I've made, but oh well Disclaimer: I don't know too much about Rain World's lore entirely, relying on a very in depth lore vid to get the Slugcat's as close to their, assumed, personalities as I can. The Slugcats each ascended, even Saint somehow. They appear not in the Rubicon or in their old world. But one that's suffering a fate similar but different to theirs. With only their wits they face a less chaotic but more nightmarish world rife with death. On the other side, Vacuity saw not his creators. But those that pull the strings of fate of his world, forcing those that amuse them into immortality, and killing off those that bore them....or to create a more unique amusement. He severed his strings at the cost of his few remaining 'family' and companionship in general. How does one form bonds after seeing such adversity and losing so much?
