The Federal Republic of Flashia had been living their day like the other day, when suddenly they found themselves under an alien skies. Reborn from the ashes of a bloody series of wars, this Federal Republic would have to face the new challenges that came with the abrupt transfer as they would try to adapt to their new, current situation. "It sounds like it comes from a conspiracy, I know, but trust me, it is all real, nothing is made up here" - President Simon Thomasen ... While this is indeed similar to Nihonkoku Shoukan, I decided to do some originality and put my own fictional countries (including Flashia) in there because why the fk not? -CONTENT WARNING- May contain disturbing content, most prominently violence along with myriad of things. From Imperialist Absolute Monarchy to a Globalist Constitutional Monarchy, the Hatemean Kingdom didn't exactly have a good start when the monarchy was reinstated in 1989. First it was a civil war that saw the People's Republic falling apart, a disastrous war against Flashia and the states that formerly split off from Flashia and a coup d'etat, internally known as the Revolution for Peace which saw the overthrow of the King and installation of his daughter, Rina as the Queen. Their economy was in shambles, but with the Queen phasing out imperialistic practices, Hatemea was now recovering fast as it finally secured favorable position in the international community. The future was overall looking very bright, until something happened that would change the Kingdom forever. (Inspired by Nihonkoku Shoukan)

Never before has there been such a comprehensive look at Confederate military horses in the Civil War and their lives before, during, and after battle. Why particular breeds or colors were chosen for specific tasks, what the life expectancy of military horses was and why they died, and the distinct challenges of caring for horses in wartime conditions are all coved. Chapters focus on how they were acquired by their owners, their lineages, the stories behind their names, and the ways in which they were immortalized. Robert E. Lee's Traveller, Stonewall Jackson's Little Sorrel, Forrest's thirty horses, Ashby's Tom Telegraph, and many more are included in this must-read history.

In the final campaign of the Crossroads War, a young soldier deserts his own lines to reunite with his lover, who lives in enemy territory. "Ferdinand... I'll wait for you forever and a day-please return. I love you." Note: This story is another set in Altera, my alternate 19th Century setting. The Crossroads War is roughly equivalent to the Franco-Prussian War (1870-71), and this conflict sees the introduction of the first armored fighting vehicles.

This is the tale of the Second World War. Rather, a tale of the soldiers who fought it. Jack Walters, a young and youthful British boy living in the small village of Bathampton, is called up to the British Army during the waning days of the Second World War. After watching his childhood best friend depart a year earlier for Burma, he must endure the horrific trials of warfare during the final thrust through North-West Europe alone. As he struggles to survive in the wheat-fields of Hill 112, the Seine river, the disastrous Operation Market Garden, the freezing Ardennes, the Reichswald Forest and the climactic crossing of the Rhine, he must do all he can to bring himself and his comrades back home alive.
