The Federal Republic of Flashia had been living their day like the other day, when suddenly they found themselves under an alien skies. Reborn from the ashes of a bloody series of wars, this Federal Republic would have to face the new challenges that came with the abrupt transfer as they would try to adapt to their new, current situation. "It sounds like it comes from a conspiracy, I know, but trust me, it is all real, nothing is made up here" - President Simon Thomasen ... While this is indeed similar to Nihonkoku Shoukan, I decided to do some originality and put my own fictional countries (including Flashia) in there because why the fk not? -CONTENT WARNING- May contain disturbing content, most prominently violence along with myriad of things. Never before has there been such a comprehensive look at Confederate military horses in the Civil War and their lives before, during, and after battle. Why particular breeds or colors were chosen for specific tasks, what the life expectancy of military horses was and why they died, and the distinct challenges of caring for horses in wartime conditions are all coved. Chapters focus on how they were acquired by their owners, their lineages, the stories behind their names, and the ways in which they were immortalized. Robert E. Lee's Traveller, Stonewall Jackson's Little Sorrel, Forrest's thirty horses, Ashby's Tom Telegraph, and many more are included in this must-read history.

This work is an extended review of The Guns of Normandy by George Blackburn in honour all Canadian soldiers who died in Normandy 75 year ago and those who gave their lives more than 100 years ago in the first world war. It describes the brutal battles with the elite infantry and tank divisions of the German Wehrmacht (arguable the best trained and equipped army in the world) after the Normandy D-Day landings. The British, Canadian and American tanks were totally outclassed by the German Panther and Tiger tanks. The British Sten gun was very unreliable compared to the German MP 40 (Schmeisser) but the speed and response of the British and Canadian artillery was far superior to the German's. The campaign was ultimately decided by Hitler's (the German dictator) strategic errors, the overwhelming allied air superiority and the tactical ingenuity and courageous determination of the allied aircrews, gunners, tankers and infantry. I do not claim copyright to any part of this work in the hope that others may publicize George Blackburn's superlative books: - Where the Hell are the Guns, The Guns of Normandy and The Guns of Victory. They are available from:- https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/14114/the-guns-of-normandy-by-george-blackburn/9780771015038/ You may also find all three books at your local library. The cover shows a 25 pounder field gun being hooked up to its limber which is attached to the quad (four wheel drive truck).

Welcome to Hephaestus. Originally known as Project Prometheus before its development was revealed to the wider world, the Hephaestus was designed to "spit in the eye of the gods". A massive, heavily armoured, industrial spaceship, the Hephaestus was designed to travel the long distance to the planet Helios 29-c, and then be the central hub for the largest industrial effort in human history. But as it's name would suggest, Project Prometheus was never fated to be an easy journey. Five years after landing the enormous ship on the surface of Helios, and transforming itself into a massive factory city, the crew of the Hephaestus have spent less time mining for the valuable helium-3 and other elements under the surface, and more time focused on fighting back the hordes of horrors that inhabit the planet.

WW1 set short story about the experience of a reular infantryman in the chaos of the western front. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Author notes: This story was my mock GCSE language paper, I liked the story so I published it and I would greatly appreciate any feedback. There may be some grammatical errors or lapses in articulation from where I have copied it from my practice paper but feel free to point this out. Hope you enjoy it, thanks!
