Lior has painted countless canvases, but one image keeps haunting him a pair of wings that appear even when his hands refuse to draw them. They follow him. They chase him. And they feel like a truth he's afraid to remember. Then a new student begins spending time in the art room-quiet, distant, yet carrying an aura that shakes something in Lior he thought was long gone. And with every silent moment they share, the wings in his paintings grow clearer... as if leading him to a part of himself he's been trying to avoid. But when the past starts bleeding into the colors of his art, Lior realizes something he never wanted to face Some memories don't fade- they return, waiting to be finished.

This is a cringy short story, but I figured that if straight people can have cringy rom-coms, so can the gays! Leo is a walking storm cloud with a chip on his shoulder and a portfolio full of angry, black-and-white sketches. Elias is the human equivalent of a golden retriever, a literal sunshine boy who paints in blinding color and has a habit of smiling at everyone. They're assigned as partners for the final art project, and Leo thinks it's a special kind of torture. How is he supposed to work with someone who literally glows?
