This is the origin story of an upcoming team coming to make their appearance at the King of Fighters tournament. This team of three consists of Leon: the last survivor of the K-Project, Toyotama: Daughter of the Ryujin clan, and Matanaya the clone of Anti-K project Isolde.

A new tournament has been announced. The contestants of KOF are looking forward to win again. Strange things start happening, ghosts of the past haunt the contestants, yet they still stand strong to compete. As a cherry on top, the tournament's host gets abducted. How? And why? Most importantly, who?
