It's been seven years since the Murder Drones arrived on Copper 9. The Worker Drone population has only survived thanks to underground bunkers that have since become sprawling communities. Uzi Doorman doesn't consider that living, though. How can everyone be content with surrendering their home? Since losing her mother to those monsters, striking back has been at the forefront of her mind. But no one else seems to believe in her dream of a Copper 9 free of Murder Drones. MXM Story 4 in a series of 6. Follows Let Them Eat Cake, Connors Journey and Runaway. In Runaway: George, the abused and battered boy that landed somehow, maybe by luck or fate, in the shop doorway of Steve & Nick Dance has now grown, matured and changed. After struggling for years George finally thought he'd found his future, but one Sunday morning after a stupid row over Aidens daughter, George walks out, then Aiden disappears. In DOUBLEFACE: Fast forward a year and a half and Aiden still hasn't returned, Grey Dawson, Georges friend and boss is dead and George is running the gallery. Bridget returns to town, taking up the position of Georges assistant. George is successful, George is wealthy, George appears to have it all, but he doesn't. The one thing missing is Aiden, Aiden Walsh, his absent love, the love he didn't know he truly truly wanted, until it was too late and he....... had gone. Where was he? Was he alive? Was he dead? If he did come back would he even want George again? George has to know, he has to tell his story, he has to bring Aiden back, but how if he doesn't even know where he's gone or even if he is still alive?. 8 years on from that fateful day that he was found starving and freezing in the shop doorway of 'Let Them Eat Cake', George decides it's time to open up, to bare his soul, to bring back his love. The one who took away his nightmares, his 'Dreamcatcher'. George embarks on a special mission, a mission to highlight abuse in society with an exhibition of a very different kind. Abuse, so very often hidden can take many forms. George decides to take the plunge and publish his own story, along with an exhibition of art to highlight this problem and its effects. Will it work?, will Aiden come to him?, will the exhibition fly or fail?.
