The idea of alternate univereses were not out of proportion. But how can things be so diffrent, yet still so much the same? Link never expected to find a home on the waves. Tetra never expected to find a home in a person. A Series of non-chronological One-Shots that'll vary in length that'll follow Link and Tetra, and their growing relationship, as they look for New Hyrule. Set after Phantom Hourglass. Have you ever wondered what a modern Legend of Zelda game would be like? Well it would certainly not be like this because this is an alternate universe (which I created), but that is how I thought of this. I hope you enjoy! (P.S.: The alternate universe is basically Hyrule, many, MANY years in the future. Its become like modern countries in our world, except they are still run by a monarchy. I took the characters from past games and remixed them into their new roles in this universe. Some of them are descendants of past characters, while others are completely separate from their name-sakes. I guess you can just assume the Zelda timeline is mostly unchanged, though must of it, by this time, is... Just a Legend haha...) •~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• Link, his two brothers, his sister, and his father have all just moved from their homeland to the neighboring country of Hyrule. Whenever Link is enrolled in high school, he begins to meet an interesting cast of friends. Even more so, he discovers a mysterious birthmark upon his hand.. When a dangerous and poisonous fog with unknown origins appears throughout the country, a stay-at-home order is issued. Strangely, this has quite a lot to do with Link and his new friends... The Legend of Zelda and its characters are not mine. They belong to Nintendo. The cover art belongs to me. I used Ibis Paint to draw it :D (but i don't have rights to the ocarina of time- that belongs to Nintendo too)

In the game Windwaker, you travel the seas on a talking boat on an epic quest to save your sister-and your world. read her what the young heroes thoughts on this unexpected quest may have been.

You lived on Outset island with Link and his family for years to the point, they saw you as one of the family. You were a kind and gentle soul, who loved animals and nature. You saw Link and Aryll as your younger siblings and family. But when Aryll is kidnapped, it's up to you and Link to get her back...and save the world?

Link never took an interest in socializing with other people. He was always going to school and working so he can focus on providing a life for his little sister, Aryll. Zelda, his new neighbor, moved next door to him. He was forced to welcome her and show her around since she didn't know anybody else in the neighborhood. Zelda became someone he got close to. She made him feel comfortable to open up to other people. Link still wasn't interested in dating, but when he got set up on a date, Zelda started to develop feelings for him. He didn't know he loved her until she was with someone else. (*WARNING* : Story may contain alcohol use, and mention of sex.) i don't care if you guys swear in my comments but just be cautious of other people, thanks (: zelink fan art for the cover does not belong to me. credits goes to the owner (i'm sorry idk who it is!) i thought it was really cute so i used it when i found it online. Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. But I think I write stories better than I write summaries I promise haha... ~Clean and appropriate for most ages~ There will be some minor blood and other descriptions that may be disturbing for young people. (Currently on hiatus) He's just another senior at his high school in Queens trying to make it to graduation. But when his brand new Nintendo Switch starts acting out of the ordinary, Lincoln Matheson's world suddenly merges with another in order to create a real life adventure he wasn't prepared for. He and his friends are suffering from this new curse, taking on the powers and appearances of people they're not, and Lincoln - the kid who's good at skateboarding and bad at math - is the only one who can set things right. The chosen hero has never been so terrified. (This piece of fan fiction is a rewrite of one of my oldest works on the internet, written when I was around 13 or 14. This rewrite involves a more cohesive plot, more natural dialogue, as well as some utilization of the then-not-released Breath of the Wild lore. I hope you all like my second shot at this premise!)

Twilight is the land of the spirit's. Twilight is the hour we meet them.... The Hour of Twilight is the most comforting presence to us regardless of all the evils in its realm. I hummed as I thought about that. I looked at Link who was leaning against me, as I was leaning towards him as well. Zelda using his chest as a pillow, Midna sleeping on his head. Helios and Epona by my side. The Hour of Twilight behind us. I hummed as I looked at my hand, the Triforce flowing on my hand. Power. Wisdom. Courage. I was what bonded them all. Unity. Yes. The Hour of Twilight is home.

Young Zelda and her twin brother Link have been living on their own for years, along with their friend Aryll. When a famine and dying forest life force them into the gerudo desert, they find themselves in a difficult situation. They are rescued by non other than the ruthless warriors of the desert themselves, the gerudo. They even get an offer to join the mysterious group of noble warriors. They accept, and Zelda finds herself training amongst the other gerudo youth. Her new life proves to much better than her old one. She and her siblings no longer have to fight every single day for survival, and they feel as though their lives finally have purpose. The security of their new life is not garunteed, however. Danger remains a prominent factor in their lives, some sources closer than they think. A rogue group of former gerudo lurk just beyond their old home, and the hylians have become more and more aggressive ever since the famine. As if that wasn't enough to worry about, a prophecy of one destined to be a strong, powerful leader and save the gerudo race from the ever darkening shadows arises. Will Zelda figure out a way to save her newfound home?

Zelink AU Modern Fanfiction Link lives a miserable life. Every day it seems that the same exact events repeat themselves, like he's living in a loop. As an attempt to break his loop, Link's little sister Aryll and her friend Tetra make a goal to set him up with Tetra's older sister Zelda. With Thanksgiving weekend just around the corner, the two merge and each discover how special the other is. But what happens when other girls are involved?
