While the battle goes well, one of the Quarian ships gets boarded by the enemy, and the ensuing chaos that follows results in the ship reaching the Mass Relay towards the Sol Cluster. What follows is a survival-hardened civilization dragged into the mess of galactic politics and eventual conflicts between several factions.
