For those who have read the Ascendance Series by Jennifer Nielsen, this is a fan-fic piece that takes place when Prince Jaron (later known as the orphan Sage) is sent away to Bymar. Most people believe that Jaron was killed by pirates along with the rest of the crew, but he escaped through a porthole and lived in Carthya in disguise until he was found by Conner. This is that untold story.

One story- three authors. A story about love, heartbreak, war, eggs and most importantly- tacos. This is an Ascendance series fanfiction with a few original characters thrown into the mix. Warning: extremely weird, read at your own risk. But if you do decide to read this gripping story, your soul will be cleansed. All characters from the Ascendance series belong to Jennifer A. Nielsen. These characters include Jaron, Imogen, Roden, Tobias, Mott and Harlowe. The characters Kevin, Jinx, Kiara and Jimmy are all original. Comprises of slice of life hadcanons in a canon-divergent Ascendance Trilogy post-The Shattered Castle, where Jaron navigates kingship , joined by his friends and brother Darius( real- brother in this world), back to Carthya from Belland, in a slice-of-life tale of festival chaos and camaraderie. Buried in papers, Jaron trades quips with Roden, teases Tobias and shares nostalgic moments with Darius with their past antics-echoing through Drylliad's bustling preparations. The group tackles regents' complaints and festival frenzy, blending loyalty, mischief, and the bittersweet weight of shared history in a mostly canonical Carthya. (In this alternate universe, set post-The Shattered Castle, events, the story diverges with no marriage occurring for Jaron at the end of book 5, keeping Imogen absent from the narrative)

Geminius, and so this story continues with all of its imperfections and inexperience from an author who's struggling to write properly (I had given up after finishing Descendance and Ascendance but continued trying after having come back. I will try to give writing a try again. I feel like sometimes I've forgotten how to write. Eh. So this starts of silly because gotta have some fun with shits and giggles before the angst. It starts getting serious somewhere in chapter 4 and from there, the angst will soon start.)

*Mild spoilers for The Shattered Castle* Jaron is finally at his happy ending, but he feels like there is something that he has needed to do for a long time. He, Roden, and Tobias go on a trip across Carthya to help them remember where everything started, and to never forget how they all came together in the first place. Based on the Ascendance Series by Jennifer A. Nielsen, all characters belong to her, and the story includes some quotes from The False Prince.

After the city fell to the Red Legion, everything living that was caught by them was killed. Civilians, animals, terrorists, Guardians... Emily Sanders watched as the city was sieged, and watched it fall too, watching her closest friend die in the process. Now she seeks revenge against that Black-Armoured colossus that took away her reason to fight.

The Ascendance Trilogy (The False Prince, the Runaway King and the Shadow Throne) after story. King Jaron is now 23 years old. After several years of peace, he is captured in the woods and brought to meet someone from his past that he thought was gone forever.

Jaron and the gang get a well deserved vacation. This is mostly just them fooling around and getting into trouble. (The story is much better than the description.) We're not professionals but we hope you like it!

The re-writen version of the lost princess!

What if magic exists in Carthya? Jaron finds a mirror in the treasure cave near Drylliad that transports him back to the past when he was seven years old. It lets him not only see his parents for another last time but he meets his younger mischievous self and help him while trying to not let anyone know he is the current Jaron is from the future. He even gets a chance to have one last talk with his father and tries to close the distance they always had between each other.
