Jaron and Imogen become engaged after the events in The Shadow Throne. However it takes a toll when new characters are introduced, Fink gets a love life, Roden confesses his love to someone, and someone from Imogen's past comes into play. Will their love be strong enough? My original story, characters are mostly from Jennifer A Neilsons Ascendence Series, however I have some of my own in there. ENJOYYYYYY

I remained behind in the throne room, seated at the long table pretending to read a report I had already memorised. Across from me, Harlowe stayed seated, his gaze lingering somewhere beyond the high windows, where the light fell pale and winter-thin across the stone. After a moment, he murmured, almost to himself, "The day is near." I glanced up. "What day?" He smiled faintly, the sort of smile that carried memory rather than mirth. "Roden's birthday. It's next week." I stared at him. "His birthday?" The words surprised me as much as the thought. "Roden never told me."

One story- three authors. A story about love, heartbreak, war, eggs and most importantly- tacos. This is an Ascendance series fanfiction with a few original characters thrown into the mix. Warning: extremely weird, read at your own risk. But if you do decide to read this gripping story, your soul will be cleansed. All characters from the Ascendance series belong to Jennifer A. Nielsen. These characters include Jaron, Imogen, Roden, Tobias, Mott and Harlowe. The characters Kevin, Jinx, Kiara and Jimmy are all original. The next book of TLP (This one is going to be changed a lot)

The Ascendance Trilogy (The False Prince, the Runaway King and the Shadow Throne) after story. King Jaron is now 23 years old. After several years of peace, he is captured in the woods and brought to meet someone from his past that he thought was gone forever.

Amarinda spoke again. "I want to surprise him. I want him to celebrate his birthday properly this year." "Then you should go on ahead," I replied. "He would like it." She slowed her steps and turned to face me fully. "That is why I need your help." I stopped walking. "My help?" I studied her though I already suspected what she meant. "Why would you need my help?" Rather than answer she stared at me and raised her brows slightly, as if that alone should explain everything. After a moment I sighed, already knowing her message. "Of course. You want me to plan it."

(Basically Roden challenged Jaron and they both fall down during their fight. Fink comes in at the wrong moment and misinterprets the whole scenario.) "You're always busy. Fight me Jaron." I raised a brow. "You have an odd way of asking for companionship." A beat passed, then I sighed. "You truly wish to fight?" He grinned, "Afraid to lose?" I glared at him. "I never lose, Roden." I considered him for a moment. After another beat, I added. "Very well. Just, let me get my sword. But if I win, you will stop challenging me for at least a week."

Jaron and the gang get a well deserved vacation. This is mostly just them fooling around and getting into trouble. (The story is much better than the description.) We're not professionals but we hope you like it!

I don't know when I'd be able to admit to myself that buying this house was a bad idea. I'm not sure how long I'd stay sane either, for the only thing I ever called mine was causing me nothing but torment. This place is wrapped with secrets that haunted me the more I tried to uncover them. There's something dark about this house, but the struggles that I had in the past that enabled me to buy a home didn't allow me to give up. Call it pride, but it's really not hard to let go of something you hold dear. I'm desperate. This race against time and the entity that's after me, I am not sure if I could keep up. I believe there's a way to end all this. Every page I flip in this diary is one step closer to finally understanding the mystery that enshrouds this place.
