Inspired by the 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder' book series by Holly Jackson, The Good After Murder is a (mostly) lighthearted spin-off to As Good As Dead of the series: The verdict was out. Max Hastings would be in prison for a long while. Pip was free. She was free to see her family and friends again-to see her Ravi again. But even when the legal business is done, and the murders and now-solved cases of the past are too, Pip's story isn't finished. She is still facing the weight of her actions-of murder and leaving everyone she loves behind. She carries the weight of the trauma from each case her stubborn mind made her solve. She has her growing desire to reconnect with her loved ones and to not push them away anymore. The hardest parts are over, but Pip's story is still longing for closure. ~~~~~ This is a fanfiction, and has no official affiliation to the 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder' series. All events are not canon, only inspired by the series.

It's been 1 year, 8 months, and 16 days since Pip said goodbye. It's been long enough. Now that Max is found guilty, can she return to the life she once had in Fairview?
