Asha was born in a barn but raised in the woods. That sounds strange. Why would a kitten leave the warm, sheltered place of a barn for the dark, dangerous home of the forest? The answer is simple. She is the daughter of Storm, one of the most feared cats in the forest. Asha is his only daughter, aside from Katherine, who is given up to a close friend. When a sudden sickness spreads through the forest, Storm catches it and can no longer perform his duties. Asha steps up with the help of her step mother Caramel to lead her group.

Asha, now named Estrella, has been fascinated with wishes her whole life. Her parents are the King and Queen of Rosas, and they cannot wait to finally teach the skill of wish-granting to her on her 18th birthday so she can continue their legacy. Estrella plans to change things up though. She sees how the people without their granted wishes look purposeless and lethargic and things start to get tense between her and her parents when she suggests giving back wishes they never intend to grant. Desperate for a change, she makes a wish herself and ends up getting entangled with a mysterious boy from the stars.

2 months have passed since Cheka's defeat and the Tree of Life is more peaceful than ever before. But that doesn't mean things can be the same again. Nguvu left one day after Cheka's defeat and no one has seen him since. Cheka's former pride banded together and formed The Wanderer Pride. They wander around and help wherever they can. Fuli and Binga got pregnant soon after Cheka's death and now everyone is ready to bring new life. The Lion Guard has done the impossible many times before. Can the Lion Guard handle parenthood? Only time will tell...
